The Team Behind the Camera
Liz and I live, eat, and breathe storytelling. The obsession began in High School 16 years ago in Minnesota and Illinois, where we were often the ones who were in charge of filming the videos for any class project you can think of. Our individual paths led us to film school in downtown Chicago, where we met and fell in love.
The day after graduation, we moved out to Los Angeles, where we worked at Fox Television and Sony Pictures to learn the ins and outs of professional and industry-standard craftsmanship. Our families very much utilized their filmmaking relatives, and we often would film their weddings as a gift for them.
Forcier Films was, ironically, birthed from the unprecedented Spring and Summer of 2020. Living through the era of zoom calls and social distancing helped us see the importance of connection. Seeing so many family members unable to attend the biggest events and share in the memories of their loved ones made us think about ways to ensure everyone can experience the emotions and memories that are missed.
It was there we started Forcier Films, motivated by our desire to give other couples a chance to fully immerse themselves in the emotions of their day. Ultimately, we care about family and people, and decided to move the business to central Illinois to raise our family. We have two happy and hilarious sons; Jonah (3) and Willie (1). Having our own business makes it possible for us to spend as much time with our children as we can. When we aren’t filming or editing, you might often find us at the park or library.
Forcier Films was born out of experience with our own wedding film, where the footage was crisp and clear but lacked any feelings of “us”. Rest assured, your wedding film will never have to worry about not feeling like you.
Our Values
EVERYBODY deserves to have a beautiful wedding film that enables couples to relive the exact emotions of their day wherever and whenever. That’s why our smallest package includes all-day coverage and a full highlight film. Your budget shouldn’t dictate the quality of your memories.

10 times out of 10, we choose to go for shots that prioritize the storytelling over those that are going to feed into the “cookie cutter” approach to wedding films. That mindset goes into how we edit; story-first. It leads to a more complete highlight in the end.
Story Over Substance
Creating unique wedding films starts with paying attention to the couple. Throughout the entire process, we are absorbing who you are and what YOU value. That’s reflected in everything in your film from the parts of the speech we choose to include to the music we pick to accompany your story. All of this works together to feel like you’re reliving your day forever.

Creative Producer / Videographer
Liz will be your main contact throughout the process of creating your wedding film, feel free to text her with any questions or ideas at any time! She has over a decade of experience working in all facets of film/video development & production for companies such as FOX Broadcasting Company and HBO. Along with being another all-day shooter, she communicates with the day-of vendors to make sure everything runs smoothly. Liz makes it her mission to be your best friend, and she loves nothing more than taking care of her besties.

Justin Forcier
Head Cinematographer / Editor
Justin is the primary videographer and editor at Forcier Films. After graduating from Columbia College Chicago in 2013 with a degree in Film Directing, he moved out to Los Angeles with Liz to strengthen and solidify his storytelling and technical talents, and loves being able to find the small and real moments between couples that are often overlooked when reliving a wedding day. On the day-of, Justin will be following you around with his steadicam rig, making sure all of the footage is cinematic and artistically forward.
